Zebulon Nights
30-second website preview
“Zebulon Nights” takes Three Chords Deep back to its Southern rock roots.
The band originally formed around James’ gritty voice and a heavier Southern rock sound, and this track puts him right back out front. But instead of telling another backroad story, it drops that sound into the early-2000s Middle Georgia car scene — Civics, Neons, Cavaliers, parking lots, loud stereos, neon underglow, and Mid Georgia Tuners rolling in after dark.
It’s less about the cars themselves and more about being young enough to believe those nights would last forever.
With James fronting it, “Zebulon Nights” feels like classic Three Chords Deep: Southern, loud, nostalgic, and built from a real place in the band’s history.
